Celia lives in Christchurch where she is Music Director of the Christchurch School of Music and works as a music specialist and PD provider in primary schools and early childhood centers. The CSM has been a huge part of her life - she began learning recorder at the age of 6, added flute at the age of 10 and progressed through all the school’s orchestras to play principal flute in the Youth Orchestra for many years. At various times she has been a flute teacher and supervisor, recorder supervisor and pre-school teacher. Celia has an LTCL in flute and recorder and a Master's in Education with 1st class honors through Waikato University.
